Cookies

Optional analytics under your control.

Current status

EncajaTaller uses Google Analytics 4 only after a visitor clicks “Accept analytics”. Before consent, the Google tag is not downloaded, visits are not sent to Google Analytics and its cookies are not created. Rejecting is as easy as accepting.

The preference is stored in browser local storage under encajataller_analytics_consent_v1. This technical value contains only “accepted” or “rejected” and does not directly identify a person.

Purpose and data

The optional purpose is to understand visits, sessions, viewed pages, basic usage, browser and device information, approximate location and outbound clicks — including Amazon links — so that the content can be improved. Analytics is not used for personalised advertising and direct identifiers must not be sent.

Google Analytics cookies

After acceptance, GA4 may create _ga to distinguish users and _ga_ to persist session state. Google states a default lifetime of up to two years for both, subject to browser limits and user deletion. See Google’s official GA4 cookie information.

Affiliate links

Clicking an Amazon link leaves EncajaTaller. The destination site then applies its own policies and technologies. EncajaTaller does not load Amazon cookies before that click.

Your choice

The choice is stored locally so that it is not requested on every page. It can be changed at any time through “Manage cookies” in the footer. Rejecting removes accessible analytics cookies from the domain and reloads the page without the Analytics tag.

Updates

This policy will be reviewed before adding advertising, embedded content, new providers or new purposes.
